okay, so i just picked up the new york times magazine from last sunday, and the cover story (obviously) caught my eye. so i read it, and it was about [one of] the publishers of this blog. and the blog was mentioned by name, so of course, i had to check it out. i decided to comment because a) i can and b) my favorite cookbook is also cooks illustrated. oh, and c) i am a vegetarian. so id just like to say congratulations to the not so secret EDG for sharing your story, and leaving this site up.
